Condition: An original poster in very fine condition, with no significant or at most slight signs of use commensurate with its age, such as slight folds, tears or bubbles. Not mounted.

Notes: Miriam Cahn (*1949) studied at the School of Design in Basel from 1968 to 1973, after graduating she worked as a drawing teacher and scientific draughtswoman, since 1976 she has been a freelance artist. Until the mid-1980s, Miriam Cahn concentrated on drawing, exclusively in black and white, using chalk or pencil. Our poster for the 1980 Christmas exhibition dates from this early creative phase. Cahn’s works can be found in numerous art collections around the world, among others at MoMA in New York, at the Tate Modern in London, as well as at the Reina Sofía Museum in Madrid.
