A key resource for understanding the role of the Eragny Press in the private press movement. One of 235 copies.

Description: Quarter buff paper boards with a repeat pattern of ‘daisy’ printed in green and pink, gold stamped on upper left cover: T.S. MOORE. Octavo: 21 × 13.5 cm; pag.: [28]ll. (paginated 4–52), with 15 wood engravings in black and white, printed recto only and 1 pressmark.

Condition: Covers show very minor wear to extremities and a few marks to upper and rear board. Some slight tanning to free endpapers (as often). Internally, clean and free of marks.

Notes: The 17th printing by the Eragny Press, published as a ‘bibliography’ of the prints to date. With an introduction by T.S. Moore and text extracts from A Defence of the Revival of Printing (Ricketts, Vale Press, 1899) and De la Typographie (Ricketts, Pissarro, Vale Press 1898).
